Oldest ever photograph?

Photo by Nicephore Niepce. This photo may look pixelated and insignificant, but it is far from it. This is an example of some of the earliest known photography if not one of the first photographs ever taken.

Born in 1765, Nicephore Niepce was a French inventor and though he is responsible for producing the first photographs he is little known today despite the importance of his invention. This particular photo was taken in 1826 named ‘View from the Window at Le Gras’.  More on him can be found here.

This blog is a collection of photos I have found around the internet. From famous battles, great sporting moments or just anything I find to be thought provoking. I do not take credit for any of the photos and any uncredited photos are because I have been unable to find the photographer/artist. Enjoy :) Mirror Eyes - Blogged
